Romantic Cities Honeymoon

Paris, Barcelona & Rome

WHAT THE CLIENT ASKED FOR...

Sean and Marg were having a holiday wedding and wanted guidance on a European honeymoon.  Marg just wanted to spend New Year’s Eve in Paris at the Eiffel Tower.  Sean was interested in Rome and antiquity/history.  They both liked art.

WHAT I BOOKED FOR THEM...

After discussions with them, they decided they wanted to go to 3 different cities.  We booked them a table at the Eiffel Tower on New Year’s Eve day, and then guided them to some local cafés for the fireworks in the evening.  With his desire to see Rome, the natural 3rd destination was either Portugal or Spain.  They decided on Barcelona because they both were interested in Gaudy.  We arranged their city to city air flights, their hotels and transfers, some romantic dinners, and private museum tours in Barcelona and Rome.

THEIR TESTIMONIAL...

“Roseann was so hands-on for every step of our trip, from deciding on locations to helping us once we arrived.  It was a dream vacation and it would never have been possible without Roseann.  What really impressed me about her was how responsive she was, and how knowledgeable about everything.  If we had a question, we would just email her and had an answer the next day if not sooner.   Our entire honeymoon was so carefully researched and planned flawlessly, and that’s all due to her.  I was a mess and was trying to plan our wedding – I could barely find my passport in time!  It was so wonderful to know that every detail was covered by Roseann and I could enjoy my wedding and look forward to the best trip of our lives, which this truly was.  We can’t wait to book our next trip!”

25th Wedding Anniversary/Vow Renewal

Hawaiian Islands

WHAT THE CLIENT ASKED FOR...

Bruce and Joanne knew they wanted to go away for their 25th Anniversary, to celebrate and have a 2nd honeymoon.  They knew they wanted sun, fun, & relaxation, with luxury accommodations, and they were interested in Hawaii.  But they were not sure what island or how many or how long.

WHAT I BOOKED FOR THEM...

After our initial meeting, and an in-depth conversation about their likes/dislikes, needs, and wishes, it was decided they would go to 2 different and distinct Hawaiian island: Oahu and Kauai.  Because Bruce was a history buff, and really interested in WWII, Oahu was a natural choice.  Joanne chose the top floor of one of the beach-side 5 star resorts, so they had a magnificent view as well.  At my suggestion, we arranged a beach-side, sunset private vow renewal with an authentic Conch blowing ceremony, a minister to deliver the vows, a photographer, and two new wedding bands made from platinum and Hawaiian teak.  We also arranged Pearl Harbor tours, both land and water, an underwater submarine ride, 2 luau’s – one on each island, a helicopter ride, a romantic, sunset cruise, and a last evening lei ceremony giving the lei to the sea to remember them until their return.

Destination Wedding and Honeymoon

Antiqua

WHAT THE CLIENT ASKED FOR...

Basically, Joe and Marie wanted a destination wedding as well as their honeymoon in someplace warm, with sun and clear blue water and with an exotic vibe.  Not Mexico and not the Bahamas.  But they didn’t have any real ideas of where to start and what to look for, beyond that.

WHAT I BOOKED FOR THEM...

At our initial discussion, I found out lots of information about them, their desires, and their family. They were very concerned about their families, making sure they would be comfortable and accommodated, especially since there would be some children included.  I suggested they have the ceremony and celebrations in one resort, and have their honeymoon in a more secluded part of the island after their guests left.  We decided on Antiqua, at a family-friendly All-Inclusive, which offered horseback riding.  During our discussions, it turned out Marie had a love of horses, and had a secret desire to arrive at her wedding being riding on  horseback, white gown flowing over the horses’ side.  We arranged for this, which was a surprise for the guests as well as the groom!  The destination wedding took place over 3 days of celebration. Afterwards, the couple left on a private yacht to honeymoon on the other side of the island in a smaller, private boutique hotel which dated from the colonial times.

THEIR TESTIMONIAL...

“Roseann was amazing!  We knew that we wanted a destination wedding for our families and friends, and a relaxing honeymoon for ourselves, but we had no idea how or where to do this.  She not only found a location in Antiqua that was beautiful and romantic, but she arranged for everything for our group, from airfare to hotel accommodations to activities.  She even took care of special accommodations we needed for a few of our elderly guests.  As the wedding coup de gras, knowing my love of horses, she arranged for me to be led into our wedding on horseback.  Our guests, especially my husband, were amazed and quite pleasantly surprised!  Counting the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, and the brunch the next day, we had three days of celebration, and our guests couldn’t have been more pleased.  Following the wedding, Roseann arranged a private yacht to take us to the Admiral’s Inn on the other side of the island. Here  we toured the beaches and island by day, and relaxed to the sounds of steel bands by night – how romantic!  We could not be more pleased with our destination wedding and honeymoon, and would recommend Roseann and Sundrenched Travel to anyone!”
